Rationale and Purpose of the Module:

Develop a viable and realistic thesis proposal which is within the scope of the research component of the MSc in Work and Organisational Psychology. Develop an awareness of the requirements of the thesis. Identify and have preliminary discussion with a potential supervisor.

Syllabus:

Development of a thesis proposal detailing the proposed research project of the student and providing a rationale for the research and proposed methodology

Learning Outcomes:

Cognitive (Knowledge, Understanding, Application, Analysis, Evaluation, Synthesis)

Skill development in research proposal writing. Develop awareness of the stages of research required for the thesis. Develop skills of self-management and planning.
